Whether you are just beginning to explore, or well down the road towards being a Radically Welcoming congregation we’d love to hear from you.
Exploring – if you’re wanting to begin exploring, or want to refresh your thinking after looking at these introductory materials some time ago, use the form below to let us know you’re at this stage so we have a record in the Synod of who is taking part.
Engaging – if you feel your congregation is beyond the exploring stage, and you have completed one of the three welcome resources together – and made some simple changes to your welcome as a result, then the next stage is to ask your church meeting if they are ready and willing to engage with Stage Two. To help you decide if you are ready for the next step, there is a helpful checklist which you can download from the Welcoming Church – Stage Two page. Once the church meeting has agreed, return the completed checklist to us (either by post or email) so we can begin the process of pairing you up with a ‘Buddy’ church to journey with.
Embracing – maybe your congregation has been a place of Radical Welcome long before the rest of us even thought about it! If so, please contact us so we can arrange for someone to contact you or maybe visit your Elders meeting to discuss what help we can give you to delve deeper still, and to agree when it is appropriate to award your church the Synod ‘Welcoming Church’ plaque.
